Hi Team!
We have a karate grading being held at the club Sunday, 21 March 2021!
Every three to four months, Warriors Martial Arts hosts a karate grading. This is an event in which karate students who have been training hard and are ready to do so can test for their next rank (kyu). The next karate grading will be held at the club on Sunday, 21 March 2021. Each time the grading is approaching, the team at Warriors notifies all families of the upcoming event, and provides all parents with the relevant information about the grading and what is involved. This allows parents to decide what is right for them, and whether they would like their child/ren to participate in the upcoming grading.
CAN MY CHILD GRADE?
Parents of students who have a white or red belt are encouraged to speak with either Sarah or Meysam at the club to discuss whether your child is ready for the their next rank. Instructors can then either encourage you to complete and return the relevant application form, or wait for the next grading. This year, students who are blue belt or above will require an invitation in order to participate in the grading. Receiving the invitation will be dependant on how long for which the student has been training and has had the current rank, level of attendance during that time, and their overall progress. Letters for students who are blue belt and above who are eligible for the upcoming grading will be handed out within the next week :)
GRADING APPLICATIONS:
If your child/ren are white or red belt, and instructors have advised they are ready to grade, application forms can be found at reception. :) They are due back at the club by 15 March 2021 in order to avoid a late fee. Grading fees for the Little Ninja Program (4 - 5 years) is $40, and is $65 for Juniors or Seniors who have a white or red belt.
If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to have a chat with our friendly staff next time you are in at the club!
