MEMBERSHIP TERMS & CONDITIONS
It’s a condition of enrolment that members are aware of and agree to abide by the Warriors Martial Arts terms and conditions. We also expect students under 18 years, and parents on their behalf, to read and understand these terms and conditions.
Warriors Martial Arts offers two membership types — an upfront membership or a fortnightly direct debit membership. Respectfully, practising members must be financial members.
All membership fees must be paid in full as agreed. Members acknowledge that all fees are paid via direct debit two (2) weeks in advance, or 6- or 12- months upfront. Members also understand and agree that sufficient funds must be in your nominated account by the due date to enable the direct debit to be honoured on the debit date.
Warriors Martial Arts staff are trained to explain to you the terms and conditions of our memberships, to ensure that you make an informed decision when joining Warriors Martial Arts for your training needs. Membership fees are calculated over a 12-month period irrespective of holidays. To clarify, Warriors Martial Arts is closed on public holidays, membership fees for that fortnight will not be adjusted any further.
All members understand that the purchase of either an upfront membership or a fortnightly direct debit membership provides you access to Warriors Martial Arts classes, in accordance with the Warriors Martial Arts membership purchased, rather than the attendance of those classes. Fees are ongoing regardless of how much or how often you access or use your membership, and unattended classes cannot be redeemed/refunded/transferred for use at a later date.
Furthermore, members acknowledge and understand that Warriors Martial Arts do not provide ‘make-up’ classes in the event you do not attend your allocated class for any period of time. Members acknowledge that it is their prerogative to attend classes as often or as frequently as they desire, on their allocated class days.
Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice and posted on www.warriorsmartialarts.com.au. New conditions are effective immediately from the date of change. Members are encouraged to check the terms and conditions regularly via our website to ensure they are up to date with the terms and conditions of membership at Warriors Martial Arts.
Upfront memberships are available at discounted rates for either 6 or 12 months. To qualify for the discount, new members must pay in full at the start of their membership period. When an upfront membership is renewed, discounts apply only when payment is made within 14 days of the renewal date. Upfront memberships are non-refundable, and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstance, and cannot be used as credit for any other Warriors Martial Arts product/s or service/s.
Direct Debit fortnightly memberships are calculated over a 12-month period irrespective of centre closures or holidays. This membership type is pay-as-you-go and ongoing for a 12-month period, to be renewed automatically. Payments are made via direct debit to your credit or debit card, cheque or savings account. Changes to direct debit memberships can be made with at least 3 business days’ notice by filling out a new direct debit request form available at reception. We will assume your payment method is correct and will continue to bill membership fees and charges relating to your membership. The recurring payment is not a contract. Members can cancel the recurring payment, at least 14 days before the date when their next payment is due.
Clients acknowledge Warriors Martial Arts use a third party direct debit company to process fortnightly direct debits, and furthermore, acknowledge credit and debit cards have fees associated with their nomination of use, and failed payments have a dishonour fee associated with them at the discretion of the third party direct debit company. Clients should refer to the terms and conditions of the third party direct debit company for more details. Clients also understand that all failed payments will be reattempted after three (3) business days.
Direct debit memberships are non-refundable, and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstance, and cannot be used as credit for any other Warriors Martial Arts product/s or service/s.
Online memberships can be purchased directly from the Website and are managed by Warriors Martial Arts and are billed using a third party direct debit system. The online membership fee is recurring and will apply regardless of how much or how often you access or use your membership.
All website purchases are processed securely via our third party payment gateway providers. You must refer to their terms and conditions for additional information.
Payment must be made at the time of purchase and before you have access to your training. Online memberships will be auto-renewed on the first day of your next billing period unless you expressly indicate to us you do not wish to renew. You must notify us of any change to method of payment (credit card details).
